Abia State Police Command has gunned down a dreadful armed robber identified as Sampson Nwokocha, popularly known as Grave. Sampson gained popularity for his nefarious and dastard act, which pose a threat to the people of the State.
The commissioner of Police Ene Okon told newsmen that Sampson has been on the top of the command criminal list for a while. Okon said the command swung into full action on Tuesday following a tip-off of the criminal’s hideout.
Investigation revealed that the criminal led a group of robbers that invaded a hotel and robbed staff and guests on the 6th and 10th of November respectively. During the operation, the gang killed a police officer on duty and went away with his rifle.
Also on the 10th of November in a different location, Sampson and his gang robbed a fuel station and went away with all their money. Consequently, he and his gang has robbed people of their vehicles within and outside the state. In countless scenarios, they have carted away with the belongings of people.
One of his future plans is to invade the Correctional Service Centre in Umuahia (Prison). He had planned to free his mother and other people who are dear to him. However, he ran out of luck before he could carry out his plans.
Okon gave a stern warning to other notorious gangs in the state. He assured that the state Police command will do everything to ensure that the state is free of miscreants. He added that other notorious groups should cease operation within the state or face the wrath of the command.
