Afrobeat singer Burna Boy and 5 other Afrobeat musicians were nominated for the BET International act award and Burna boy came ahead as the winner. He was present at the award but he left the premises before they announced that he won.
His mom accepted the award on his behalf and she gave a remarkable speech. “He must be the most restless person I ever met, he was here right now. Thank you very much BET, Thank you, Africa, because that’s the constituency for which we got noticed in the first place. And the message from Burna I believe, would be that every black person should please remember that you were Africans before you became anything else. Thank you!” Burna Boy’s mom Bose Ogulu.

Stefflon Don and Burna Boy attended the BET awards together as a couple.
If you recall, Nigeriatunes reported that they are in a serious relationship and they accompany each other whenever one of them is having an important event. They look happy together and Steff’s dress was a game changer. Burna also performed at the BET after party show.
