Concerned Nigerians asked Air Peace Airline to ground all 10 Boeing 737 Max 8 following 2 fatal crashes in 6 months

BOE 737 Max 8 was released to the market in May 2017. It’s considered one of the best selling airplanes but the plane is getting negative reviews because of recent fatal crashes within a short period of time.

The Boeing 737 Max 8 brand of airplane had its first crash on October 29, 2018.  Lion Air, an Indonesia carrier, operated the plane. The Lion Air flight 610 crashed after takeoff from Jakarta.

On March 10, 2019, Ethiopian airplanes carrying 157 people crashed after take off killing everyone on board.  Both airplanes are brand new and both crashed minutes into the flight.

Concerned Nigerian citizens asked Air Peace Airline to ground the entire Boeing 737 Max 8 airplane that they bought due to safety concerns.

Indonesia, China and several other airlines stated that they are grounding all 737 Mas 8 airplanes following second deadly crash in 6 months.   And they have all spoken out about the incident and their costumers feel safe.  Air Peace have been quite and all the 737- Max 8 airplanes that they bought. Those aircrafts are still in service.

“We are excited to add the 737 MAX to our fleet as we expand our network to offer more destinations and serve more passengers,” said Allen Onyema, Chairman and CEO, Air Peace Limited. “The fuel efficiency and superior operating economics of the 737 MAX will ensure that the aircraft will play a major role in growing our business in the years to come.” – He added.

Air peace CEO Allen Onyema said in to the press that they have ordered the defected Boeing 737 in press release that went out on Sept. 13, 2018.

It’s very possible that Air Peace have received their order from Boeing, Air peace ordered 10 737 – Max 8 but they haven’t said anything to assure customer’s safety.
