Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke alias Davido has proven once again that despite the fame, the money and his exotic lifestyle, there is still a place in his heart for God and his Christian faith. He proved that on Sunday when he took some members of his family to a church in Victoria Island, Lagos.
A viral video that was filmed from the worship experience and shared on Twitter on Monday, showed the superstar standing at the front roll while a chorister was ministering in songs.
The musician dressed in his usual casual wear – a shirt and jean trousers with a little bit of some of his usual jewellery.
His brother and musician, B-red stood behind him with lesser respect for church doctrines as he was filmed still putting on his cap while the church service was going on.
Other members of Davido’s family that were in the church with the singer are his sister, Sharon Ademefun and Fred Ajudua.
In one of the clips filmed during the service and retrieved from Twitter on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Davido was seen filming himself while trying to sing along with the chorister.
The “Risky” crooner felt the song ministration to the extent he had to use his fingers to demonstrate the rhythm of the song like he was playing a keyboard.
What an inspiration the singer has proven to be to those who think because they are kings of turn-ups, they won’t be welcomed in a church. In fact, Davido has used this means to challenge people like us who always believe that we are too busy to make it to our religious houses. If Davido has the time for church, then, why can’t we?
