Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele begins treatment of his thigh injury in Qatar on Sunday. The session is at the Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Qatar.
The 22-year-old French will be out for 10 weeks following his hamstring injury during Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
However, this injury will be Dembele’s ninth encounters in his short time of joining Barcelona. After all, he suffers his current right thigh muscle injury, while playing against his former club, Dortmund.
Report confirms that he will head to Qatar to start his rehab. And have several sessions back at Barcelona. At the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Anyway, Dembele will be out for almost three months. And will not play three tough matches of the Catalan club, set for December. He will not be back until February next year.
Following this, Barca travels to the capital of Spain to face Athletico Madrid today. Real Sociedad is next, before the El Classico against Real Madrid on December 18.
Meanwhile, the France international star has played only two full-time La Liga games this season. The team will miss the French forward, but they have to keep making points to maintain the top.
