A former housemate of Big Brother Naija reality television show, Tokunbo Idowu alias Tboss has asked her late father, Vincent Idowu to forgive her, saying that she has also forgiven him.

According to reports, Tboss, a finalist of season 2 of the reality TV show was not in good terms with his late father.

The war between her and her father went viral when the man decided to remarry in 2017 to a 400 level student of Ambrose Ali University where he lectured.

According to the late lecturer, Tboss’ mother left him on good ground in 2006. However, Tboss and her siblings reportedly did not like the idea of their then 64 years old father remarrying to an undergraduate.

Their criticism of the union annoyed their father to the extent the late lecturer wrote a very lengthy post where he explained the family fuss in details and why he needed a fresh start. The man didn’t end there, he went as far as cursing Tboss and her siblings.

He said: “I just want to forget Tokunbor (TBoss) and her siblings and start life afresh for all its worth. If and wherever Tboss and any of her siblings gets married, it shall be without my blessings and woe unto the man or the woman who marries any of them”.

Sadly, he died at the age of 66 on the 20th of September 2019, less than two years after remarrying. He was laid to rest on November 11, 2019.

The Remembrance

In the caption, she said she wished things were different; and could turn back the hands of time to be there for her late father and tell him how much she loved him.

She said: “I’m so sorry. I know you’re in a better place and have finally found the purest form of peace, the peace that you never knew here on earth but Toksy misses you so much, Tata…

“But most especially I have Learnt- I
Learnt that life is fleeting and the idea is to make and leave as many positive memories as possible.”
