Falz reacts to Sowore v DSS drama ” Shameful .. disregard to Democracy”

Falz reacts to Sowore’s issue following the DSS’s refusal to release Sowore after he was granted bail by the Nigeria federal high court. Falz was surprised and angered that Sowore is still being held in jail. As a result, he issued a statement on his social media page.

The DSS has refused to honour the court’s order and the move has forced most Nigerians to think that the current administration is acting like it’s above the law. Falz expressed his frustration by saying that the government has shown a very disgraceful level of disregard for democracy and the Rule of Law.

“This government has shown a disgraceful level of disregard for democracy and the Rule of Law. The Court has ordered that Sowore be released but our government of the day has refused to obey the court. This man has been detained for over 50 days, obviously without any conviction. Despicable behaviour. Very very shameful. #FreeSoworeNow” Falz wrote on his Instagram page.
