You can call President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo anything you wish but they surely know what it takes to handle Nigerians. If you saw the video they made to wish Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, you will know that the president really has a soft spot contrary to the belief of some people.
Well, President Buhari’s special assistant on New media, Bashir Ahmad shared the video on his Twitter account this evening which has greatly ignited mixed reaction amidst Nigerians on Twitter as always.
The video was a well-rehearsed short clip which the media team of the presidency must have put in so much effort to put together. Though the quality of the sound was poor, the message was clear and straight to the point.
The video started with the country’s flag while the voice of President Buhari ran over it before that of the vice president came on. President Buhari goes: “I, Muhammadu Buhari, while that of the Vice President followed with “I, Yemi Osinbajo”.
Afterwards, the next scene came on showing the president and his vice sitting side by side. Both chorused: “We wish all Nigerians a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.”
Is that not strange? There is no administration that has given so much attention to Christmas like this duo. If the opposition still insists that the Buhari/Osinbajo administration has not done anything, this should be a pass mark for the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government.
In the voice of President Muhammadu Buhari, “We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”.
