South Africa rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA has informed Nigerian Afrobeat star, Burna Boy that he is willing to swallow his pride.
Nigeriatunes reports that both artists have been on a Twitter war since Burna Boy attacked AKA for his nonchalant attitude towards the Xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
Burna Boy vowed in one of his series of tweets then that he would never step his foot on South Africa soil. He also threatened AKA, urging him to be with a ”big security” because the rapper would need it when they meet.
The rapper did not take the tweet likely as he also said he was ready for the Afrobeat singer.
In the turn of events, Burna Boy was contracted to headline an Africa Unite concert in South Africa on 23rd and 24th of November, 2019; and the rapper said he would be at the event to see how Burna would put his hands on him in his own country.
However, this morning, while replying to Wizkid’s tweet dated Sept. 4, 2019, urging celebrities to watch what they say, the rapper tweeted to Burna Boy that he was ready to ”put an end to this division”.
He, however, asked Burna Boy in the tweet whether he was also ready to do the same.
Here is Wizkid’s tweet and the rapper’s reply:
Meanwhile, AKA’s followers on Twitter have not been entertaining his response to Wizkid’s tweet favourably.
Most of them are urging the rapper to go and settle the beef the rapper has with a fellow South Africa rapper, Cassper Nyovest before he attempts the same thing outside. ”Charity begins at home. Start with
@casspernyovest”, @BartierYandiey tweeted.
While @adeeku3 tweeted: “Put an end to the division between yourself and Casper as well or maybe you just scared of Burna Boy”.
