Nigerian Musician Iyanya has finally put an end to the war between him and his longtime business partner, Ubi Franklin.
Iyanya used to claim that he is a part-owner of Made Men Music Group (Triple MG). But Franklin as always said Iyanya was not part of the management of the label since he (Iyanya) has never agreed to sign documents related to the record label.
”Iyanya was not part of it, he said he wanted to focus on the music”, Franklin who has the credit as the founder of the label said in an interview.
The back and forth between Iyanya and Franklin became more intense when Franklin brought Tekno to the label.
Franklin claimed that Iyanya has never liked Tekno while Iyanya claimed that despite being a part-owner of the label, Franklin paid him only N145K from Tekno’s career.
The singer also accused Franklin of scamming him and that he lied to Tekno that he (Iyanya) did not like him (Tekno).
Despite the fact that Iyanya enjoyed his brightest moments musically with the label, the singer described his time at the label as “dark time”.
After all the drama between these two gentlemen, they finally had a “rebirth” on Friday, 29 November 2019 when Iyanya appreciated Franklin via a post on his Instagram account. He also used the post to announce that he would soon drop his EP titled “Rebirth”.
Franklin then commented on the post saying that “it has been love” wishing him to win.
