Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City Pep Guardiola has been enlisted to the League Manager Association’s LMA Hall of Fame.
They two managers now belong to the list of League manager’s legends. Following the footsteps of legends like Sir Bobby Robson and Arsene Wenger. Now Klopp and Guardiola are in the honorary list of the LMA.
The LMA disclosed the duo’s induction on Thursday, to recognize their remarkable performances in football management to date.
Former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, and England manager Gareth Southgate giving the pair awards. Shows that these two have achieved great success in their coaching field.
Guardiola and Klopp are battling for Premier League royalty this season. Just as they did last season when Manchester City got the League with a point over Liverpool.
The two are currently struggling to win the premier league title. Man City manager wants to protect the title for the third consecutive year. While Klopp targets the title for Liverpool being the first since 1990.
Part of their achievements
Liverpool manager Klopp since appointment in 2015 has led Liverpool to win the Champions League in 18/19. Also the UEFA super cup against Europa 18/19 winner Chelsea football club.
On the other hand, Guardiola Taking over City since 2016 summer, he has the current Premier League title.
Guardiola has also lifted seven trophies in three seasons. However, becoming the first club to win all four English trophies for men in a single march in 2018/19.
Afterward, Man City has 3 losses already this season while Liverpool none. Placing Liverpool at the top of the League table, Man City third with 9 point difference. It is plainly becoming hard for Guardiola to respectively retain the title for the third time.
Liverpool host Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, while City travels to Newcastle United.
