West Ham United Goalkeeper Martin In Tears After Their Win over Chelsea

David Martin

Veteran West Ham keeper, David Martin has his debut today against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Martin weeps after helping Hammers beat Chelsea in his first appearance for the club.

Following the effort of the keeper to safeguard the goal post, West Ham has its win over the blues. His clean sheet and saves give West Ham their first win after seven winless League.

Debutant replacing Roberto who is currently struggling for form denies the home team chances to score. While the first choice keeper Lukasz Fabianski is down with hip muscle tear in September against Bournemouth.

However, he could not control his emotion of denying the great Blues to net their post. The club has conceived 13 goals in their last 5 losses.

Moreover, the Hammers have been struggling with a form that has put so much pressure on Manuel Pellegrini.

Aaron Cresswell scored the only goal that led the club their first win since September against Manchester United. Also, the winner gives Chelsea their first defeat at Stamford Bridge this season.

Anthony’s second goal would have been the visitor’s safe win but got ruled out signifying handball. Then, the pressures from the home team got out of control in the final few minutes.

Martin consequently stood to keep the three-point for the Hammers. Martin is, however, the son of West Ham legend, Arvin. The former England defender Arvin spent 20 years at West Ham from 1976 to 1996.
