Nigerian music legend, 2face Idibia, 2baba, released his 5th studio album on Friday, February 28, 2020, and a lot of talking points have arisen from it since the album hits streaming platforms across the world.
One of such talking points is the fact that the music legend didn’t feature two raving artists of the moment, Davido and Naira Marley on the trending album.
Those who are pushing this narrative especially on Twitter believe that not featuring those two artists on an album 2baba said was for “Warriors” is the musician’s way of rating other raving artists above Davido and Naira Marley.
What really made this argument thick for some of the commentators is that 2baba featured Wizkid on one of the hottest tracks on the album “Opo” and Wizkid is often regarded as Davido’s competitor. Hence, Wizkid’s fans took that as a bragging right.
Besides that, the legend featured another super raving musician Burna Boy in another hot track on the album “We Must Grove”. In the case of Burna Boy, he recently declared himself the greatest in the Nigerian music industry, a seat most Nigerian music lovers have reserved for 2baba. Their coming together on a song that ended up on the “Warriors” album was a surprise to many. It was also regarded as 2baba’s way of rating Burna Boy ahead of Davido and others who were not featured on the 13-track album.
Yeah man did you like 2Baba rating Burna boy and Wizkid over Davido and Naira Marley— _chidi💦 (@chidisteph_) February 28, 2020

According to the album,is 2Baba trying to rate Burna boy and Wizkid ahead Naira Marley and Davido by not putting them on the album? pic.twitter.com/96UsP2BilG
Then, some fans of Davido have also reacted against the failure of 2baba to feature Davido on an album he said was for Warriors. Some of them even went as far as calling the album noise since their artist (Davido) was not featured on it.
Like seriously I can’t listen to this #WarriorsAlbum by 2baba aka 2face !! The full album na noise den featured those struggling to get a hit song .. Smh !— OBOson #7 (@GadoCaptain) February 28, 2020

Other raving musicians featured on the album include Olamide, Tiwa Savage and Peruzzi.
The “Warriors” released under 2baba’s owned Hypertek record label was to commemorate the musician’s 20 years reign in the Nigerian music industry.
