South Africa government has decided to waive visas for many countries including Ghana, Lebanon except Nigeria.

Recent revelation from South Africa Home Affairs representative Mulasi Gigaba signifies that South Africa government has decided to exclude Nigeria in a new immigration measures that will waive the need to secure a visa before entry to many countries.

Ghana, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iran, Lebanon, the state of Palestine, Belarus, Georgia and Cuba are list of countries that will join UK, US, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Australia , Brazil and Canada to be part of countries that will not be required to secure visa before entering South Africa.

“We have implemented a visa waiver for all citizens of the Russian Federation and Angola, on 1 April 2017 and 1 December 2017, respectively, to travel to SA without having to apply for a visa,” Gigaba said.
