Wizkid is angry about what happened to his colleagues, Davido and Tiwa Savage. He has blasted Pastors and cursed the fake ones using the name of a Yoruba god ‘Ogun’ just to condemn viral videos which showed Davido and Tiwa Savage (separately) purportedly advertising a church programme organised by COZA.
Indeed, Nigeria is a country filled with millions of actors who are yet to join Nollywood movement. The fact that the daily drama of Nigerians has found its way into religious organizations is alarming and embarrassing.
Nigeriatunes earlier reported that Nigerian musician, Davido came out to debunk the viral video. Even if that was true, how on earth should a so-called church leave all the raving gospel musicians in Nigeria and decided to use a circular artist to promote his religious programme?
They didn’t only used Davido, Tiwa Savage was also a victim of the same approach. She took to Twitter on Thursday to share a writeup saying she never gave the church her consent for the advertisement.
The singer urged the church to retract the claim or risk legal action just like how Davido threatened.

It is such a comedy that would have been enjoyable if it was a Nollywood movie where Nkem Owoh acted as the pastor of the church and Osita Iheme acted as Davido.
To avoid this embarrassing drama from also happening to him, Nigerian popstar, Wizkid came out on Thursday to issue a sound warning to fake pastors.
He declared to them via a tweet that he as a Starboy doesn’t do endorsements for pastors nor for churches. He didn’t stop there, he retweeted Tiwa Savage’s tweet debunking her consent to the viral advertisement.
See the tweet Wizkid shared to react to what happened to both Davido and Wizkid here:
Starboy no dey endorse no Pastor or church o! Ogun kill u fake pastors!— Wizkid (@wizkidayo) December 19, 2019
This Wizkid’s reaction is one of the so many negative reactions that have trailed the viral video featuring Davido, a little girl and a woman advertising a church programme.
Though, Tiwa Savage and Davido have cleared the air and said their own side of what happened, as at the last update of this report, the church in question has not issued any statement. Well, probably, 2019 is about to start all over again for Coza.
