British Sue Radford has rubbished the perception that women in developing and least educated countries in the world are more likely to give birth to more children as she announced that she is expecting her 22nd child.
She and her husband Noel Redford told the world that they are expecting their 22nd child via a YouTube clip where she held an Ultrasound image to authenticate her claim.
The family which is hoping for a ”little boy” according to a YouTube clip the family posted on Sunday is regarded as the largest family in Britain.
Confirming the news, the 44 years old Mrs Radford, told her followers: “So now you know guys, we’re having a baby.
Sue Radford and her 48 years old husband Noel Radford live in a 10-bedroom house with their 21 children.
Mrs. Radford told her YouTube followers that she is 15 weeks pregnant and she would be able to find out the gender of the baby soon.
She added that the baby is due on April 2020, and revealed that she is hoping for a boy. “I wonder if it will be 11 of each – I am feeling a bit boy,” she said.
It was gathered that Mr. and Mrs. Radford are already parents to Chris, 30; Sophie, 25; Chloe, 23; Jack, 22; Daniel, 20; Luke, 18; Millie, 17; Katie, 16; James, 15; Ellie, 14; Aimee, 13; Josh, 12; Max, 11; Tillie, nine; Oscar, seven; Casper, six; Hallie, three; Phoebe, two; Archie, 18 months; and Bonnie Raye, 11 months. Another, named Alfie, was stillborn in 2014 when Mrs Radford was 23 weeks pregnant.
The family own and operate Radford’s Pie Company, also known as Faraday’s, a bakery in Heysham which they acquired in 1999.
The Radfords, from Morecambe, Lancashire, also receive £170 a week in child benefits and spend approximately £350 on food shopping.
The family first came to public attention in 2012 when they were the focus of a Channel 4 documentary called 15 Kids and Counting.
Noel and Sue met as children and had their first child, Christopher, when she was 14 and he was 18. The family live in a former care home in Morecambe.
The 2018 20 Kids and Counting covered their 25th wedding anniversary and the birth of their 20th child.
As of 2018, the Radfords have had 21 children and four grandchildren.
