Nigerian fast-rising star, Rema is gradually solidifying himself on the world music stage as the National Basketball Association (NBA) paid attention to his song.
The 19 years old singer has been on a Music tour of the United States of America immediately he received his award as the ‘Next Rated’ artist at the 2019 Headies Award.
Besides that, during the 2019 Halloween festival in the US, he shared a picture of him hanging out with Hollywood actor and rapper, Jaden Smith.
Last week, he shared a heartwarming writeup on Instagram to thank his fans as he hit 1 million followers on the platform within 7 months.
Just this morning, he shared a video showing an NBA match involving New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks.
In the video, one of his songs titled ‘Lady’ was playing in the background while the match was about to kick off.
The two teams played the match on 9th of November, 2019; the match ended in favour of New York Knicks, 102 to 106 points.
The excited singer captioned the video with: “Lady playing in American Airline Center during New York Knicks & Dallas Mavericks games. Afrobeats to the world”.
