There was a serious drama on the Twitter page of fast-rising Nigerian musician Zlatan Ibile in the early hours of today when a follower of the musician begged him for school fees.
The follower tweeted to the indigenous rapper telling him how he has been trying to gain admission into Yaba College of Technology for the past 6 years without success. According to him, he eventually made it this year but doesn’t have means of paying for the tuition.
“Maybe God doesn’t want you to finish school. Me sef no finish”, the ”Yeye Boyfriend” crooner replied via a tweet.
As at last check, the follower has deleted his tweet probably because of the savage reply he got from the musician.
Meanwhile, other followers of the singer have been going hard on him for replying the follower so harshly.
Instead of replying the way he did, they said he should have ignored the tweet or better still, find a way to help him.
@Adexgrin said: ”The fact that you didn’t finish school should not be a reason to discourage others. Silent sometimes is golden. Remember you ain’t the best singer yet God chooses to elevate you.”
@BomboyBaba said, ”Bro, this is one of the posts you should actually ignore, you have a big name and reputation to protect, you’re already an ambassador to youths the day you hit success. Whether the school is beneficial or not, you’re supposed to preach education. Don’t let Naija bloggers drag you, sir.”
While @Ennyholar said, ”You could have ignored. The answer is so unnecessary.”
